Mega Oenos from Domaine Skouras is a fresh and juicy red that blends vibrant Agiorgitiko with a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon. It’s an easy-drinking wine that’s perfect for casual get-togethers or winding down after a long day.

Tasting note
The color is a very deep, rich purple red. On the nose, this wine is dense, concentrated and shows refinement. Aromas of ripe fruits such as blackberries and black raspberries, spice characteristics, smoke and a touch of leather fill the nose. On the palate, it is silky but also robust, and framed by elegant tannins. A balanced acidity offers a taste of ripe fruit, cloves, black pepper and a pinch of herbs. The aftertaste is very long and of great complexity.
Culinary recommendation
This wine goes well with grilled red meat, lamb dishes, game and aged cheeses. Its structure and aroma make it an ideal companion for hearty dishes.
Vinification
Alcoholic fermentation and extraction in stainless steel tanks at 23˚C. Secondary fermentation at 20˚C. Complete extraction time: Agiorgitiko 17 days, Cabernet Sauvignon 15 days. Full malolactic fermentation in barriques. Ageing in new oak barrels for 18 months, 4 months of which “Sur Lie”. The wine is then aged in the bottle in our cellar for another 6 months.
