About the wine
What sets Graubünden wines apart from other Eastern Swiss wines is the soil on which they grow, then the altitude. Apart from Badwingert in Fläsch, all lie at over 500 m and rise to 680 m above sea level. It is only thanks to special climatic conditions (average 100 days of hair dryer) that the Pinot Noir grape is almost always able to reach the full maturity that is often envied in the rest of Eastern Switzerland, even at these altitudes.

Tasting note
On the nose, the pure Pinot Noir fruit (raspberry, strawberry) is unmistakable with its fine spiciness and the very subtle toasted notes in the background. Until after the long finish, his overall impression is extremely soft, yet very expressive.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with veal, beef, lamb, Graubünden specialities and aged cheese
Vinification
Traditionally in large oak barrels which comprise 1,800 — 3,600 liters.
