About the wine
More than 4400 cooperative members provide Provins, the largest Swiss wine producer, with the yields from the vineyard plots between Sierre and Lake Geneva. The company focuses on quality and produces a good 20 of the 50 Valais grape varieties today. The top oenologists Madeleine Gay and Luc Sermet and their team vinify the unmistakable “Grand Métral” line and thus provide uncomplicated drinking pleasure: The wines are fresh, fruity, full-bodied and immediately accessible. They are primarily aimed at customers of the “brasserie, bar” type and fit perfectly with modern gastronomy.

Tasting note
A long-lasting, fruity golden yellow dessert wine. The late harvest grapes give the bouquet complex aromas of dried fruits (dried apricot) as well as apple and some mango. A wonderful opening sweetness and a soft, full-bodied harmonious structure support the fruit on the palate, while the lingering finish makes the wine a pleasure.
