On the palate, the wine begins with a soft, flattering start, carried by a fine fruit sweetness that makes it appear warm and open. But suddenly there is an animating, lively acidity that gives freshness and excitement. The velvety-fine tannin gives structure, spicy notes of pepper and nutmeg a sophisticated, almost dangerous depth. A character wine full of nature, finesse and quiet power, simply engaging.
