About the wine
The Ridge Winery's history dates back to 1885. The more recent success story, however, begins in 1969 with the entry of Winemaker luminary Paul Draper. Together with the reputation for its outstanding “Premier Cru” Monte Bello Cabernet, Ridge is considered the actual interest rate specialist. The East Bench from privileged altitudes above the Dry Creek Valley is a pure Zinfandel that has been fermented with natural yeast and carefully aged in American oak. It impresses with its intensity and perfect body. The aroma shows peppery and fruity facets as well as nuances of spices and cocoa.
