Les Grands Terroirs deg.25 Brut 1er Cru AC - Veuve Fourny et Fils

“Grande Réserve” becomes “Grands Terroirs.” An homage to the great terroir of the various plots, which are located around 80% in Premier Cru and 20% even in Grand Cru locations. The grapes for this cuvée - 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir - come from vines that are around 30 years old on average. The basis is made up of three consecutive vintages, which are aged in steel tanks, with an additional 40% reserve of wines from wooden barrels. The typical Chardonnay aromas of citrus fruits, peaches and melon are accompanied by notes of apple and red berries, underlined with fine spiciness, thanks to the Pinot content. Wonderfully fresh and clear on the palate, gripping with precision, good fullness and a subtle mineral chalk touch on the finish.
