Tasting note
The latest edition of the so-called “Édition Limitée” is simply called “Le M”, as it is a single-varietal Meunier. The basis of 95% is the 2019 vintage, with the rest as a reserve from 2018. The charming, inviting bouquet shows a beautiful varietal typicity with aromas of juicy morels, fresh almonds, nectarines and some blood orange, plus fine notes of (candied) violets and honey blossoms. Showing wonderful elegance on the palate, with juicy fruit, great freshness and harmoniously embedded nut tones in the finale. ONLY 3995 BOTTLES PRODUCED!
Culinary recommendation
Wonderfully elegant champagne for an aperitif, accompanied, for example, by juicy melon with raw ham or finely spicy cheese zuchhini quiche. Also great with fine fish dishes, such as Zug-style perch or whitefish fillets or confit char with blood orange saffron foam.
