About the wine
Le Casette Riserva is created in Ancarano, in the heart of the Teramo hills, and represents one of the most expressive interpretations of Colline Teramane Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOCG. Tasting note
The glass shows an intense ruby red. On the nose, a complex bouquet of ripe red berries unfolds, accompanied by spicy and slightly balsamic notes and a touch of cocoa. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and balanced, with fine, supple tannins and a long, persistent structure that underlines its elegance and depth.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with roasts, braised dishes, game, strong pasta sauces with ragù and aged cheese. Thanks to its structure, it is also ideal for special occasions and sophisticated cuisine.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully selected. After draining, fermentation and maceration take place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks in order to optimally preserve the freshness of the aromas and the structure of the wine. The wine is then aged for 24 months in French oak tonneaux with medium to heavier toast. This expansion gives it additional complexity, depth and a fine texture without obscuring the characteristic character of the variety.
