Vinification
This strong purple wine has a slight violet note. The taste is rich in fine tannins, harmonious and full-bodied on the palate, velvety on the finish. Lagrein acquires character and noble spicy notes primarily through aging in small oak barrels. Fermentation takes place in a fermentation tank for 14 days with continuous submersion of the pomace.
