Tasting note
An extremely finesse Garnacha from Terra Alta. Clear ruby red. Intense on the nose, with aromas of red stone fruits, floral and warm spicy notes. The calcareous soils of the Xalamera single vineyard lend a distinct minerality and compact structure. An enchanting wine that can be combined with a variety of hearty dishes.

Vinification
25% of the grapes are vinified intact in concrete tanks, the other 70% are destemmed and vinified in stainless steel tanks. Once fermentation is complete, the wine is pressed and maturation begins in 500 liter French oak barrels. Once malolactic fermentation is complete, the wine is transferred to large Austrian oak foudres to mature for another six months.
