About the wine
The origin of Hacienda El Ternero dates back to 1077, when it was part of the monastery of Santa María de Herrera. The winery in the heart of the hacienda has buildings from the 17th, 18th and 19th century, which in the past served as a monastery, barracks, school and hospital for pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago. In the middle is the chapel of Hacienda El Ternero, which is still open today and watches over the patron saint, the Virgen de la Pera.

Tasting note
Light straw yellow color, pale with greenish reflections. Intense nose with sweet aromas of tropical fruits, peaches and blood orange. Pleasant acidity, slightly sweet, long-lasting finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitifs, tapas, fish and chicken.
Vinification
The various varieties are each aged separately in steel tanks.
