About the wine
Graceful landscapes in Levante give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Spanish winery Casa de la Ermita conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. With the special Jumilla DO Petit Verdot, you will positively surprise your friends.

Tasting note
My nose combines cedarwood, ripe plums and dark berries with a touch of violet. On the palate, I am first soft, then fresh, powerful and structured, yet elegant. My aftertaste is intense, with notes of cassis and blackberry leaf.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with braised lamb, roast beef or game dishes with dark sauce. I also bring out all my depth and structure with ripe hard cheese or grilled vegetables with Mediterranean herbs.
Vinification
My fermentation takes place spontaneously with wild yeast. I then mature in French oak barrels for 12 months — there I develop my characteristic spicy notes: a touch of cloves and mocha.
