Tasting note
The glass shows a lively cherry red with ruby reflections. On the nose, dark fruits, blueberries and cassis, accompanied by cocoa, licorice and fine wild herbs, carried by an elegant, subtly roasted note. On the palate, the wine looks full and with silky tannins and fresh, lively acidity. The aftertaste is long-lasting and once again combines dark fruit with a spicy, elegant note
Vinification
The grapes come from organically managed Monastrell vines at an altitude of 700 meters. The yields are low, the roots reach deep into rocky limestone soils — this gives the wine origin and clarity. Fermentation takes place in small stainless steel tanks with neutral yeasts to preserve the pure expressiveness and elegance of the Monastrell grape variety.
