Tasting note
Spicy aromas and playful elegance characterize this dense ruby red Pinot Noir. A sophisticated wine. Ripe, dark berries on the nose, plus notes of black cherry, graphite, as well as spicy and herbal notes and a hint of caramel. On the palate of slender and elegant stature, its taste of ripe dark berry fruit, cassis, fine and ripe tannin, ripe acidity in a long spicy and balsamic finish is surprising.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with mature cheeses, as the spiciness of the cheese products is perfectly balanced by the sweet taste of this wine. Pinot Noir Pradafant goes best with game, which can be enjoyed with a sip of a perfectly made wine. In general, Pinot Noir can also be enjoyed with poultry and white meat. However you combine it, you can be sure that its intense, enveloping aroma will intoxicate and amaze you.
Vinification
Pinot Noir Barrique gets its complexity from extract-rich grapes from vines over 40 years old. Fermentation takes place in 700 l containers and the wine is aged in 225 l barriques for twelve months.
