Tasting note
Much more than “just” Amistar Weiss's little brother! Composed from 50% Pinot Blanc, 40% Chardonnay and 10% Sauvignon Blanc, aged in used barriques, first pure for six months, then as a cuvée for a further six months. Wonderfully fruity nose with aromas of juicy pears, plate peaches, honeydew melons, as well as citrus fruits and some gooseberries, with floral and spicy notes of white flowers, meadow herbs and fine roasted notes. On the palate, it shows juicy fresh fruit, with a nice texture and a great touch.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with an aperitif, but also great with various starters and fish dishes, such as white asparagus with Bolzano sauce, white wine and celery soup with apple brunoise and corn chicken skewer or fried zander on cream savoy with saffron potatoes.
