Tasting note
Delights with its powerful body and elegant tannins. Just in the nose, a bouquet of dark berries and a fine note of cedarwood unfolds — an homage to the aging period in barriques. On the palate, it is powerful yet finely structured, the tannins are elegant and velvety. Abundance, depth and Tuscan terroir meet here — a long-lasting aftertaste and impression.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with meat dishes such as beef tenderloin, lamb or game, and also goes well with aged cheese. Or as a soloist for wonderful moments in good company.
Vinification
Only the best grapes (100% Cabernet franc) go into this wine: handpicked and carefully sorted, they develop their full potential in three to four weeks of fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 28° C. They then go into French barriques — 80% new barrels and the rest one year old — to give the wine an elegant, spicy structure for 16 months. Nothing is left to chance here!
