Tasting note
With Chardonnay Il Marzocco, Avignonesi proves that Tuscany can produce not only great red wines, but also whites of international stature. The basis is a selection of the best Chardonnay grapes. The five-month aging on yeast with regular batonnage and biological acid degradation in small wooden barrels strengthens structure and concentration, creating an exciting constellation. Feuerstein, honey and fine resin are the dominant aromas. The oak tone remains discreetly in the background. Flattering opulence sets a southern accent.
