About the wine
What Markus Schneider has achieved over the last 21 years is hard to believe. In 1994, he started from scratch, so to speak. And today, 21 years later, he and his team work on over 90 hectares, fill around 800,000 bottles a year and is described by the German trade press as The Phenomenon and The Darling of the Young Scene.

Tasting note
Intense nose with blackberries, ripe wild berries, plums, black cherries, licorice and subtle roasted aromas. On the palate, Holy Moly is balanced with silky tannins and a non-overloaded extract. The long aftertaste is characterized by intense berry fruit and a spicy-peppery note.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: Drink this red wine at slightly chilled 15°-18°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: 2016 - 2024. Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Goes well with barbecue, roasted vegetables and game.
Vinification
After manual harvesting, the selected grapes are fermented in a traditional wooden vat and gently pressed after a subsequent standing period of four weeks. The wine is then aged without external intervention in French oak barrels (75% new and 25% perennial wood) before it is bottled and sold.
