About the wine
This old gueuze is a mix of old and young lambic aged in large oak barrels called foudres. It is then bottled in a beautiful champagne bottle, in which a second fermentation takes place. The Gueuze Cuvée René is one of the jewels of the Lindemans brewery. With her golden color, sparkle and lovely sherry aromas, she is the queen of gueuzes!

Tasting note
Complex, sour and balanced taste with a nice crisp, dry and sour finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with veal, poultry, fish, salmon on toast, mussels and mild blue cheeses such as Stilton or Bleu des Causses.
Vinification
This old gueuze is a mix of old and young lambic aged in large oak barrels called foudres. It is then bottled in a beautiful champagne bottle, in which a second fermentation takes place. After 6 months, the gueuze acquires a golden color and is slightly carbonated and sour. When stored in the cellar for a few years, it becomes truly exceptional!
