About the wine

The Stadt Krems winery is not only located right in the center of the city of 28,000 inhabitants — it also belongs to it. The entire 31 hectares of vineyards are within the city limits. Its more than 550 years of history make the winery one of the oldest in Europe. As a member of the “Traditionsweingüter Österreich” association, they are committed to maintaining historic, venerable sites. The young team of winemakers has one goal: to produce puristic terroir wines. This white wine, which smells intensely of citrus fruit, pear and grassy notes, is light and fruity. On the palate, this aroma is accompanied by some peppery and minty aspects and intense freshness. The fruit is supported by a full, soft structure, rounded off with a pleasant aftertaste.
