About the wine
Produced in just five thousand bottles. The grapes come from the Serrone vineyard, which is located on a hill in Tufo, in the Santa Lucia district, and is adjacent to another vineyard chosen by us, Ortale. It is a particularly well-exposed vineyard, from which our most representative and popular Greco di Tufo emerges. Vigna Serrone is also our oldest vineyard with old Greco vines that are over 50 years old! Cantine di Marzo

Tasting note
Straw yellow wine with golden reflections. The bouquet is intense and complex: iodine and flint notes with a strong presence of ripe, yellow-fleshed fruits. In the mouth, it is enveloping, broad and intensely mineral with strong spiciness. Balanced with a long aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with dishes with a high fat content. seafood, fish, white meat with sauce, semi-hard cheese.
Vinification
For Greco Crus, Cantina di Marzo only uses the best part of the must. It is carefully fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with selected local yeasts. The wine rests on the lees for 9 months to give it complexity and structure. The malolactic transformation takes place in part, depending on the natural acidity of the crop. Before the wine is bottled, it is lightly filtered and stored at cellar temperature for a year before it is on the market.
