About the wine
It's only been back at the forefront for a few years, but that's no wonder, but thanks to the courageous Daniel Wagner. After taking over his parents' winery in the 1990s, with passion and unwavering confidence, he led the winery with its excellent locations (15 ha) back to the top of Rheinhessen, where it was 100 years ago. Year after year, Daniel Wagner and his team work out the special features of the volcanic sites more precisely; the work in the vineyard (certified organic) is exemplary! Vibrant, mineral white wines, distinctive and large.

Tasting note
Cosy and lively gentleman. All to yourself, peace and joy, wonderful juicy sweet fruit, pear, melon, in it a lively freshness, tamarind, a touch of citrus fruit, mineral life. Still a bit restless on the palate, followed by a wonderful balance of sweet light fruit and ripe acidity, lots of mineral tingling, cheerful, very fresh-tart finish, apple and tamarind. The otherwise rather used Pinot Gris appears very cheerful and cheerful for once! Oh, that's nice.
Vinification
Selective reading by hand. Aging in stainless steel tanks and traditional, old barrel (oak).
