About the wine
Vlado Krauthaker, owner of the Krauthaker winery, contributes to the rich winemaking tradition of the Kutjevo region. At the time of its founding, the winery owned 1 hectare of vineyards; by 2018, the winery became the owner of 32 hectares of vineyards. Particular attention is paid to the autochthonous Grasevina variety. The quality and success of Krauthaker wines can be recognized by numerous international awards.

Tasting note
Delicate straw yellow. On the nose, intense aromas of ripe apple, apricot, honey and chamomile are perceived. On the palate, the wine is fresh and fruity, with stone fruits in particular dominating. The texture is creamy and round, accompanied by refreshing acidity and a touch of refreshing bitter melon and a slight salinity. In the course of the sip, a subtle rot is noticed, which gives the wine sweet, dessert wine-like aromas even though it is dry. The taste experience ends with a long-lasting aftertaste. Wine with storage potential of up to seven years.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fish dishes such as crab or lobster risotto, dried ham or light summer bites such as prosciutto and melon.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand, destemmed and gently pressed. This is followed by vinification and further aging in stainless steel tanks.
