Gouttes Des Amis (formerly Nostalgia) — the traditional component in this blend is undoubtedly Pinot Noir, combined with other noble red wine grape varieties. A wine that perfectly embodies the history of the Varonier winery: The long-standing tradition of founder Caesar Varonier Senior, combined with the innovation of his grandson Andy Varonier. High complexity with strong notes of black berries, caramel, chocolate and tobacco on the nose. The palate is characterized by plum and caramel aromas. Beautifully integrated tannins and long aftertaste. The “Goutte des Amis” is an ideal accompaniment to tasty meats, especially grilled meats, game and wild fowl.
