About the wine

The De Moya winery was founded in 2001 by the Belgian Yves Laurijssens. At that time, he emigrated to Spain with his family to fulfill his dream of having his own winery. He found what he was looking for in Valencia and bought 40 hectares of land on which vineyards up to 95 years old stand. Yve's goal was to produce the best red wines from the Bobal grape. All wines that have been created bear the names of his female family members. That of his wife Sofia and his daughters Maria and Justina. The name of the winery comes from the small, charming village of Casas de Moya, where the vineyards are located. The height of the hills varies between 800 and 950 meters. |
