Fertile and picturesque landscapes in South Tyrol give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Terlan conjures up this white wine with refinement and experience. Tasting note
Rich, bright straw yellow in the glass. Invigorating of lychee and mango on the nose, but also slightly scented of honeysuckle and cloves. The scent is completed by the characteristic note of rose petals for this variety. On the palate, there is an unmistakable aroma, where the Gewürztraminer leaves a strong impression thanks to the fresh fruit and lively acidity paired with minerality.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with spicy dishes, sweet and sour dishes, pasta, vegetables, pork, Asian dishes, poultry, veal, crustaceans, potato dishes.
Vinification
Harvesting and selecting grapes by hand, gently pressing and purifying the must through natural sedimentation of the turbid substances. Slow fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. Aging for six to seven months on fine yeast partly in stainless steel tanks (50%) and partly in large wooden barrels (50%).
