Gevrey-Chambertin AOC 1er Cru Les Corbeaux 2023 - Domaine Sérafin

In Gevrey-Chambertin, Domaine Sérafin is still a top-class secret for Pinot Noir. The Premier Cru “Les Corbeaux” grows on soils rich in lime and clay and is traditionally vinified after strict hand harvesting: around 70% of the grapes are destemmed, coolly fermented and extracted in a long mash fermentation process before the wine ages for 12 to 18 months in French oak barrels with a high proportion of new wood. Smoke, flint and black cherry on the nose, juicy cherries and wild berries with a touch of licorice on the palate. Fine tannins, fresh elegance and impressive depth make this Premier Cru the ideal accompaniment to lamb, poultry or mushrooms.
