About the wine

The “Galil Alon” features rich aromas of plums, black cherries and fresh berries. These delicate flavors combine with a touch of light grass and notes of maple and browned butter. The wine is full-bodied, with balanced aromas and a pleasant, long-lasting finish. The “Galil Mountain Winery” is based on the region's five vineyards, which are between 430 and 800 meters high. The inviting “Galil Alon” consists of a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The wine is malolactically fermented and aged in oak barrels for one year. This elegant red wine can be enjoyed from the moment you buy it, but it improves in the bottle over a few years. Taste the wine with rich dishes such as filet mignon with a balsamic glaze, grilled lamb chops with garlic and basil, or with a smoked cheese of your choice.
