About the wine
Domini de la Cartoixa is located about 2 hours south of Barcelona in the heart of Priorat, the oldest wine-growing region in Spain. The 11-hectare farm is managed according to organic viticulture guidelines. Yields are kept as low as possible and as a result, in this barren and rugged mountain area, wines are virtually unbeatable in terms of concentration and intensity.

Tasting note
Rich garnet red with purple reflections. Unmistakable Priorat minerality on the palate. Fruit and licorice, plum, blueberry and juniper aromas. In the finish, traces of chocolate and coffee, lots of substance right up to the complex finale.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with red meat, game dishes, large pieces of roast meat, leg of lamb. It should be something hearty.
