About the wine
If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this strong sparkling wine — Franciacorta La Vie en Rose DOCG. Enchanting and fertile landscapes of Lombardy give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Plozza SA Brusio conjures up this sparkling wine with refinement and sensitivity. Tasting note
Straw yellow with greenish or golden reflections, fine and persistent perlage, bouquet with characteristic notes of bottle fermentation, hints of bread crust and dried fruit (almond, hazelnut, dried figs), spicy, fresh, fine and harmonious.
Culinary recommendation
An ideal accompaniment to any meal. Or as an aperitif, of course.
Vinification
Second fermentation in bottle with at least 18 months of aging on the yeasts; maturation and maturation at least 25 months after harvesting. Pressure in the bottle is between 5 and 6 atm.
