About the wine
We have a special, dominant sparkling wine for you, which is a source of enthusiasm among many wine connoisseurs. The winemaker from the Italian winery Antica Fratta has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the hallmarks of this sparkling wine, which originates in the beautiful and fertile landscape of Lombardy. Tasting note
The Cuvée Essence Natur Dosaggio Zero is only produced in the very good vintages and is offered with vintage information. It consists of 70% Chardonnay, the rest Pinot Nero. The ageing on the lees begins 6 months after harvest and lasts for at least 30 months, the wine rests in the cellar for another 6 months before being released for sale.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well as an aperitif wine, highly recommended with seafood and as an accompaniment to raw fish, sushi.
Vinification
The blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, without the addition of Dosage “Zero Dosage”, results in a pure and strict Franciacorta with only 1.9g/lt sugar content. The Franciacorta Essence Nature matures on the lees for at least 36 months, after disgorging, it rests in the cellar for a further 5 - 6 months.
