About the wine
Falcoeira, once the best vineyard in Valdeorras, was neglected but was revived and replanted by Telmo Rodriguez and his team. Because of the warm, southern orientation, red wine mainly grows there. However, in the shadier area close to the river, Telmo chose Godello and a few other local varieties. Godello, the model grape of northwestern Spain, shows its full class in this special terroir of Valdeorras.

Tasting note
Intense nose with fruity and floral notes. peach, orange peel, mandarin, lemongrass and orange blossom. A powerful start on the palate. Very dense yet incredibly fresh, which makes for a great balance. In the long finale with a delicate bitterness.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with poultry, fish, seafood.
Vinification
All grapes are harvested by hand and, through careful selection, only the best grapes are further processed. The grapes are pressed and the must is fermented in tonneau. There, the wine is also aged for 10 months.
