About the wine
The friendly newcomer Tom Puyaubert comes from Bordeaux and originally came to Spain to sell French barriques. During daily contact with the best oenologists in the country, he became fascinated by wine and especially for the Rioja region. In 2003, he founded his own small bodegas in Laguardia. His Riojas are wonderfully fresh, juicy and wonderfully unconventional.

Tasting note
Its dense ruby color crowns every festive time with style and magic. You won't find this color in any color catalog. The refreshing aromas of Exopto Rioja DOCa of black cherry, chocolate and cooked blackberry express a lot of complexity with a very special structure. The refreshing nuances of prunes, cloves and marmalade then show their own character. Strong body and present acidity result in the fruity red wine, which, balanced with fine tannins in the mouth, shows plenty of character and class. This top wine received the prize: Parker: 92/100 Guia Penin: 93/100.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with lamb, pork, beef and game.
Vinification
The vinification took place as follows: aged in barriques for 18 months.
