About the wine
Vins des Chevaliers were the first to offer their wines under the Salgesch/Salquenen appellation and thus showed a great deal of pioneering spirit. The estate is one of the few in Switzerland that can export its wines overseas. With confidence in the great quality prospects of Valais viticulture, the winery and winery were fundamentally modernized in 2004. The company is now owned by innovative entrepreneur and passionate mountaineer Patrick Z'Brun. 70 winegrowers from the region work with Vin des Chevaliers.

Tasting note
Rich ruby red with purple reflections. Large, complex, still evolving in glass. Dark fruits and black berries on the nose, slight vanilla notes. On the palate, the “W” assemblage features powerful tannins, which gives the wine a strong stature. Full body, yet very close-meshed and elegant and fine at the edges from the limestone soil. A wine like fireworks: concentrated power that develops explosively, lots of dynamism, lots of substance.

Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Elixir Assemblage Rouge Lux Vina AOC Valais passt ideal zu Ribeye Steak, Gruyère Burger und Pizza mit Pilzen. Unsere Empfehlung: Trinken Sie diesen Rotwein bei leicht gekühlten 16°-18°C.

Vinified separately. 32 months in barriques. After 4 months of blending in the tank.
