Tasting note
Intense ruby red. Wide bouquet, ripe berry and fruit notes, but also subtle licorice aromas. Rich fruit on the palate, dense and straight. A harmonious wine, with good persistence in the finish and aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled beef, lamb chops, spicy salsiccia, pasta with ragù or aged pecorino. Also ideal for hearty autumn and winter dishes.
Vinification
Classic mash fermentation in stainless steel tanks with temperature-controlled fermentation, followed by aging in wooden barrels.
