Tasting note
The Juan Gil family has launched a non-alcoholic Tempranillo/Syrah-based rosé for the first time. According to the translation, your “Disfrutando 0.0%” alludes to the German word for genießen. Bright light pink in color, the alcohol-free rosé impresses with intense aromas of currants and fresh strawberries. On the palate, it is full-bodied with well-integrated acidity, very refreshing and has a long and elegant finish.
Vinification
Winemaking, dealcoholization and subsequent carbonization take place in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature until bottling. A proprietary process combining vacuum distillation at 30°C and inverted cone technology was developed for this new alcohol-free rosé. This process is intended to capture 100 percent of the volatile components in an internal continuous process. This makes dealcoholization of up to 0.02 percent possible.
