Tasting note
Presented with a herbal and fruity aroma. Notes of blueberries and cassis characterize the bouquet, accompanied by a firm tannin and a lively tannin bite. On the palate, the wine is juicy and structured, with notes of green currants and a pleasant freshness. An easy-to-drink red wine with character and depth.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with juicy beef stew, lamb chops with herb crust or even game dishes such as venison ragout. It is also a wonderful accompaniment to spicy hard cheese or grilled vegetables with Mediterranean spices.
Vinification
After careful manual harvesting, mash fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, ensuring controlled temperature management. The wine is then aged partly in used barriques and partly in large wooden barrels to promote structure and complexity without overlapping the fruit. The wine is aged for several months before the wine is bottled.
