Cuvée Gyotaku AOC Alsace Terres d’Étoiles blends Auxerrois, Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer, and Riesling into a fresh, inviting white that’s easy to enjoy. Tasting note
An encounter between a Japanese chef and an Alsatian winemaker led to this aromatic, surprising cuvée. Spicy, floral and buttery on the nose, fresh on the palate — perfect with sauces and spices. The Cuvée Gyotaku is a so-called gentil, a blend of different grape varieties from the same plot. Despite the abandonment of Biodyvin certification, the high quality is maintained.
Culinary recommendation
The Cuvée Gyotaku was specially developed to accompany sushi and other fish dishes. It goes well with raw fish, seafood, vegetable or shrimp tempura, as well as with Asian cuisine, in particular those with sweet, sour or spicy sauces. This wine is also an excellent choice with white meat and vegetarian dishes.
