Tasting note
The grapes for this red wine come from the individual vineyards “Les Hauts Vaudayants” and “Les Doyennes” in the Grand Cru municipality of Bouzy. Aged for 18 months in used barriques. The nose shows aromas of sour cherries, red and blue berries and a bit of plum skin, underlined with notes of rose petals, mountain hay and finely spicy toasted tones. Juicy fruit on the palate, with good substance, nice tannin structure and a subtle tart spiciness in the finale.
