About the wine
With the snappy Riesling 2015 — Collio bianco DOC, nuances and accents are redefined. The winemaker from the Italian winery Schiopetto has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this white wine, which originates in the blooming and fertile landscape of Friuli. Tasting note
Straw yellow with greenish reflections. Very comprehensive fragrance with notes of ripe fruit, spices and almonds, all in a very aristocratic balance. On the palate, a rich and dynamic start, the fruity notes of Friulano combine with the cool and mineral notes of Riesling. The result is a balance of elegance and personality.
Culinary recommendation
Very suitable with all starters, be it with fish, soups or white meat. It is an ideal accompaniment to spaghetti with lobster.
Vinification
After manual harvesting, the must is fermented in stainless steel containers, at a temperature of 16°C. The wine is then aged for 9 months in stainless steel containers and left to rest in the bottle for at least 6 months before being sold.
