About the wine
Picturesque and fertile landscapes of the Upper Ebro give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Spanish winery Condes de los Andes conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. If we can offer something special for Christmas 2022, it's this present Tempranillo 2004 Colección histórica Rioja DOCa. The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a dining experience when you offer this Tempranillo with lasagna or pizza.

Tasting note
In the glass, the Conde de los Andes 2004 glows in bright red. On the nose, spicy aromas meet balsamic notes, ripe fruit and a touch of leather. It continues to be so complex on the palate: silky, ripe tannins and an appealing acidity give the wine a great structure. In the long aftertaste, powerful fruit meets spice and minerality - an all-round harmonious wine. The most important wine critics in the world also agree and award the vintage with top ratings.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled specialties, lamb dishes, châteaubriand, aged cheese and jamón ibérico.
Vinification
Aged for 20 - 24 months in French and American oak barrels and then in the bottle for more than nine years.
