About the wine
The family's viticulture dates back to the 17th century, especially in Valpolicella Classico in Veneto, where it began with and next to the wonderful historic gardens in Pojega, plus the large vineyards in Bardolino, Soave & Adige. Tasting note
Drama Queen - wonderful how multi-faced this wine is, the beautiful spice bears the soft, sweet bright red fruit, cuddly, also coconut, but quickly changes to a dominant, researching attitude, a bit harder now, fresher, tart, vegetable notes, dark, tart seasoning, ash. On the palate, this fine figure, elegant structure, but excited, almost in rage, tart tannins, dark research spice, dark earth, smoky, ash, licorice, yet not difficult, can barely be appeased until the end, bitter freshness, dramatic, direct. If you are not affected, it is a wonderful spectacle, wonderful freshness and play, plus the research, harsh sides. Merlot also has to stand out from time to time!
Vinification
Read by hand, very strict selection. Fermentation of destemmed berries in steel tanks. Ageing and aging for 1 year in mainly used oak barrels. Only very rough filtration before filling. 2 years of bottle aging before marketing.
