About the wine

More than 100 years of viticulture, and since 1978 the Gallo family, more precisely: Gianfranco Gallo, has been running Vie di Romans, located between the Adriatic Sea and the Alps in Marino de Friuli. And he not only leads it, he leads it at the top of Friuli. Because work is done meticulously here, plus very slow fermentation, long yeast stores, and release only two years after harvesting. The extremely long-lasting white wines are of sumptuous elegance and intense, exciting harmony that you would otherwise not find in this perfection. Despite an impressive 60 ha and several 100,000 bottles, it is difficult to get hold of, these wines are too unusual, too outstanding, too in demand. Extraordinary food and conversation companions!
