About the wine
When Valais wine icon Gérald Clavien was looking for a successor solution for his vineyards in Miège and the surrounding area, it quickly became clear to the two friends Amédée Mathier and Urs Zweifel that they wanted to seize this opportunity. They founded a company based in Valais and named it Bercoula, after the most famous wine location that they had taken over jointly from Clavien. Maison Bercoula's heart beats for the local grape varieties: Petite Arvine, Heida, Humagne Rouge, Pinot Noir, Syrah and many more. Maison Bercoula combines its Valais heart with Zurich spirit.

Tasting note
The characteristic Valais Syrah shows typical notes of black pepper and dark fruits. The wood finish gives it delicate enamel and rounded tannins. A wine full of elegance, with a long-lasting finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef with pepper sauce, game or aged cheese.
Vinification
The aging takes place in French oak barriques.
