About the wine
Clarendelle belongs to Clarence Dillon Wines, which also owns the legendary Bordeaux Châteaux Haut-Brion. Of course, Clarendelle's vines don't grow next to Haut-Brion's. However, the great art of Bordeaux wines (even the best ones) is the blending, the ability to combine wines from different locations and grape varieties in such a way that the result is greater than the sum of the individual parts. The same team that is responsible for the top wines at Clarence Dillon Wines also makes the assemblages at Clarendelle. The result is very good Bordeaux wines at affordable prices.

Tasting note
Brilliant golden yellow color. The nose is intense and complex, characterized by aromas of candied fruit, honey and vanilla. Remarkably fresh, full-bodied and sweet on the palate, with a long finish supported by honey-like and candied notes. Peach and apricot aromas continue and blend with nuances of white flowers. All in all, a lively and very rich wine, supported by a silky texture and a long-lasting, very fruity finish with hints of quince.
Vinification
The character and subtle structure are created by combining two types of grape ripening: Botrytis cinerea (the grapes develop noble rot just like in Sauternes) and Spätlese. Residual sugar: 105g/lit
