About the wine
Blooming and fertile Tuscan landscapes give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Capannelle conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. The snappy Sangiovese 2012 — Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG is the missing puzzle piece on your wine rack. Tasting note
Ruby red. While the bouquet combines dry fruit and flowers, this Chianti taste impresses with sophisticated wood notes. Pleasant, medium-long finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with cheese, beef, stews
Vinification
Traditional mash fermentation for three weeks. Biological acid degradation. The wine is then aged for 20 months in French and Slavonian oak barrels. This is followed by twelve months in steel tanks and six months in bottle.
