Tasting note
Elegant and complex Chianti Classico with aromas of ripe cherries, plums and fine spicy notes. Dry and full-bodied on the palate, with velvety tannins, fresh acidity and a long, mineral finish — perfectly balanced and versatile.
Culinary recommendation
Excellent with dishes with red meat, game, roasts and aged cheese. It also goes well with rich first courses such as pappardelle with wild boar ragout, mushroom risotto and typical Tuscan dishes.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented at controlled temperatures. This is followed by a long maceration on the skins to extract the tannins and aromatic components. The aging takes place in wooden barrels for 18 months, which allows the wine to develop and become more complex.
