Château Vannières Rosé Bandol AOP 2024 - Château Vannières

The Mourvèdre grapes (60% of the blend) are stripped, squeezed and after brief contact of hides and juice, only the juice is used for the rosé before pressing (saignée). The Grenache (20%) and Cinsault (20%) grapes are lightly pressed after desiccation and a short contact period of juice and skin so that hardly any color is extracted. After slow fermentation at a low temperature, the result is a wine of unparalleled freshness and liveliness. This wine from Château Vannières also comes from old to very old vines with low yields and is therefore a rosé with remarkable depth. The extremely careful workmanship contributes to this.
