About the wine
Château de Châtagneréaz is located in Mont-sur-Rolle on Lake Geneva. Winemaker Tony Heubi is responsible for the 18 hectares of vines, which are among the best locations in the La Côte appellation. The first written references to viticulture in Châtagneréaz date back to 996, while the oldest remains of the castle date back to 1177.

Tasting note
Fruity, with spicy aromas and a slight peppery note. Structured, soft, round and with wonderful tannins. Strong ruby red.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with red meats, grilled meats, slightly spicy cheeses.
Vinification
The grapes are carefully picked by hand and gently pressed. Fermentation is temperature-controlled in large wooden barrels to preserve the characteristic aromas of Chasselas while giving it a subtle structure. The wine then matures on fine lees, which gives it additional depth and complexity.
