About the wine

The estate was founded in 1950 and is now run by grandson Jean-Yves, in the spirit of the ancestor. Even though Fronsac and Canon Fronsac don't have the same reputation on the market as Paulliac or Margaux, for example, the terroir is great. And if you manage the 47ha biodynamically for so long (certified: Biodyvin 2009), finely selected and do not interfere in the cellar, then you produce delicious Bordeaux. Jean-Yves lets the terroir speak for themselves and not the critics. No additives are used in the cellar; the grapes also ripen early, with full aroma and wonderful freshness. Bordeaux, where it is not the nobility that reigns, but life. Wonderfully pure, fresh and unvarnished. The price/pleasure ratio is simply great.

Tasting note
Ibrahimović. At the beginning, he strolls across the square almost autogracefully: bright, relaxed, rich, dark fruit, first slightly, then clearly, that he is a. Animal is: becomes aromatically wild, increasingly exciting and more agile. Light-footed, elegant, glowing on the palate: the young dark and bright fruit to then be on the spot at the right moment: straddles fresh, hits the ball right: the freshness turns the fruit into a sour cherry, grumbles about the card: tart, a touch of bitter, its mine darkens: dark minerality, now fully used: agile herb, and then with a slight addition: only A touch of sweetness in the fruit to round things off. Yes: fruit and presence!
